Hugh Brace

Hugh Link Brace died peacefully on Friday, September 13th, 2019, surrounded by his family at the age of 78.

Link is survived by his wife, Marilyn; son, Todd and his sons Connor, Sawyer and Tanner; daughter, Jennifer, and daughter Carrie, her husband Tim, and their sons Carter and William.

Link was born in Superior, WI. He graduated from Wisconsin State College, with a Bachelor of Science, Liberal Arts Degree. He married Marilyn in 1968 and they started a family in Minnesota together and finally settled in Overland Park, KS. Link’s favorite memories were those spending time at their cabin on Lake Nebagamon in Wisconsin with family and friends. He loved the railroad and enjoyed many years working as a conductor for the BNSF.

A small memorial will be held on Friday, September 27th at 10:00 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Chapel in the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Flowers and condolences may be sent to 8300 Quivira Rd., Lenexa, KS 66215.
