Henry C. Eyssell, 85, passed away at Ashford Place, Saturday, January 12, 2008. Memorial services 10:00 am Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Christ Church Anglican, 91st and Nall, Overland Park, KS. Private inurnment in Disciples Garden before memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Hospice Care of Kansas, 15329 W. 95th St, Lenexa, KS 66219.
Henry was born April 30, 1922 in Independence, MO and served in the Army during World War II, winning two bronze stars. He married Rosemary Cawby in 1942 and they were married for 62 years until her death. He retired from Sterling Drug Corp. in 1986 after a successful sales career. Henry was an avid golfer and loved his family. He was a kind, generous and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Rosemary and sisters Janet Knox and Melinda Bullard. Henry is survived by his daughter, Kristy Fencyk and husband Larry; a son, Tom Eyssell and wife Diane; a brother, Arnold Eyssell; and his granddaughters Molly, Katie and Megan; and a great-grandson, Colin.
