Helen Lamb, 97, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Menorah Medical Center. Memorial services will be 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, March 29th at Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS 66208. Private graveside services in Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Village Presbyterian Church Endowment Trust Fund.
Helen was born on October 11, 1910 in Wichita, KS. She was a member of the Village Presbyterian Church, the Women?s Athletic Club and the Kansas City Athenaeum. She was preceded in death by her husband James T. Lamb in 1978 after 48 years of marriage. She later married Willis Goodenow and he preceded her in death in 1996. Helen is survived by her daughter, Donna Wilson, Prairie Village, KS; son, James T. Lamb, Houston, TX; sister, Margaret Smith La Mirada, CA; grandsons, Dr. Jeff Armstrong and his wife, Cathy, Lawrence, KS and Jim Armstrong, Lenexa, KS and great grandchildren, Meghan and Chris Armstrong, Lawrence, KS. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
