Gustav Olson

Gustav was born March 12, 1913 in Guymon, OK, the son of Carl August and Anna Louise Olson. He lived in the Kansas City area the past 78 years and retired at the age of 70. He was a former member of First Covenant Church and currently a member of Hillcrest Covenant Church. Gustav was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Helen Martha (Hanzelius); a son, James Robert Olson and two brothers, Andrew and Carl. Survivors include a son, Richard Olson, Prairie Village, KS; a daughter, Joanne Kirwan and husband Maurice, Newport News, VA; and four granddaughters.
