George Raymond “Ray” Hardison, 93, Overland Park, KS, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, March 12 at Overland Park Chapel, 8021 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park. Graveside services will be at 12 Noon, Thursday, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 6800 93rd St., Overland Park, KS, 66212, or the Alzheimer’s Association, 3846 W. 75th, Prairie Village, KS, 66208.
Ray was born June 10, 1921, in Hartwell, MO. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Dixie, in 1999. He leaves a son, Gary R. Hardison and his wife, Rosemary. Please offer condolences at www.overlandparkchapel.com.
