Frank Bert Wright passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007 at the age of 86. He died in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family. Visitation will be 1-3:00 P.M. Thursday, May 24th at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf. Graveside services will be 3:30 P.M. Thursday in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, Shawnee, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions to Good Shepherd Hospice.
Frank retired from TWA after 38 years of service. He also served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one daughter, two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Mary Eileen Wright of the home; daughters, Darlene Anderson, of the home and Patricia Frakes, Overland Park, KS; and sons, Jim Wright, Raleigh, NC, Frank Wright, Columbia, MO and Ron Brauner, Joplin, MO; one brother, Eugene Wright, Lone Elm, KS; 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
