Eva Frederick, Kansas City, Missouri, was born in Pleasanton, Kansas and departed this life on February 8, 2010. She was a graduate of Kansas State Teachers College at Pittsburg and taught in the elementary schools of Kansas and Missouri for 45 years. In 1987 she retired from the Kansas City, Missouri Public Schools. Eva was a Red Cross Volunteer for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters. Survivors are her nieces, Sharon Bathel of New Orleans and Dorathea Hensley of Tampa, Florida; great nephews: David Bathel of New Orleans, LA and John David Hensley; and a great niece, Dena of St. Petersburg, FL. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2010 at the Pleasanton City Cemetery, Pleasanton, KS. Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
