Elinor (Feller) George, age 85, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on June 27, 2008 at her home in Stafford, Virginia from Leukemia. Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 19th at the Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Prairie Village, Kansas. Inurnment will be in Baxter Springs, Kansas. The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Elinor was born on June 21, 1923 in Quapaw, Oklahoma. She was a Financial Aid Manager for KU Medical Center. She participated in numerous community activities through the Village Presbyterian Church. Elinor was the first woman president of the Overland Park Noon Lions Club. She enjoyed playing the organ, bridge and traveling. She was preceded in death by her first husband, C.B. Frazier; her parents and her beloved son, Bill. Survivors include her husband, David George of 20 years; her stepsons, Brian, Kevin and Stevin; their wives and her five beautiful grandchildren.
