ELBERTA WALLER "BERT"
Elberta Waller, 85, Overland Park, KS, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Overland Park Nursing Home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2010, at the D.W. Newcomers Sons, Overland Park Chapel. The family will receive family and friends from 10 – 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel prior to Services. Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO. Elberta was born February 16, 1924, to Elick and Winifred Gfeller in Upland, KS, and married Alvin Waller, January 20, 1943. Elberta retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 1986. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Waller and a baby daughter Berta Lee Waller, her parents, a brother and a sister. She is survived by a son and his wife Dale and Donna Waller, Overland Park, KS, two grandchildren, Tonia Atchison and Scott Waller and four great grandchildren, Kaili and Zachary Atchison, Carysa and Austin Waller.
