Edwin Peck, 87, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at Overland Park Place.
Edwin was born June 16, 1926, in Caldwell, KS to Mary (Milbourn) and Frank Peck. He grew up in Caldwell, where he attended elementary school and graduated from Caldwell High School. After high school he continued his education by attending Wichita State University, and Kansas State University where he earned his bachelor's in math and physics and another one in aeronautics.
He married Marilyn Olson who spent 54 years together, Marilyn preceded him in death September 4, 2008.
Edwin worked for Boeing, Convair, Black and Vetch, Bendix, Cessna Aircraft.
He was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Masonic Lodge in Overland Park Chapter, Lions Club. He enjoyed bowling, where he earned the state champion at the state bowling tournament, making model airplanes, reading books about aircrafts, and being involved in the cub scouts

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn Peck; parents; two brother's George Peck and Pete Peck.
Edwin is survived by his son, Steven and Debbie Peck.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons – Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66204. Interment will follow at Salemsborg Lutheran Cemetery in Smolan, KS. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013.
