Edward Oren Dinwiddie, 82 of Leawood, Ks. Passed on March 17, 2010. He was born Sept. 9, 1927 in Hutchinson, Ks., graduated from Northeast High School 1944, attended Baker University. He was very proud to serve his country in the Navy ( WWII), 3rd degree Mason, and member Unity on the Plaza. Ed was known by all as a loving, faith filled husband, father, friend who never met a stranger. He had a personality that lifted all who knew him. He was sales mgr. for Banner Biscuit Co., Western Auto Store owner. It is impossible to list all of the ways that he lovingly gave of himself in life. Love for his family was the most important thing in his life.
Preceded in death by parents, Oren and Dorothy Dinwiddie. Survived by wife Janice, daughters, Cheryl, Linda and Ginny, and their husbands, Chuck, Rick and Don; grandchildren, Bridgett, Brennan, Jessica, Christopher, Ryan, Brie, Brandy and Jordan; great grandchildren, Drew, Jackson, Ashlyn and Piper, sister, Virginia Orlene, and many other family members and friends that will miss the joy that he brought to life. Memorial services will be held at Unity Temple on the Plaza at 3:00pm Monday, March 22nd. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Heart Assoc. are appreciated.
