Mrs. Doris Tucker

Doris M. Tucker, 79, of Belton, MO passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 24th at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Burial in West Point Cemetery, Amsterdam, MO. Visitation will be 10-11:00 A.M. Saturday at the chapel prior to the service. The family suggests memorial contributions to Kansas City Hospice, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64114.
Doris was born on April 28, 1929 in Adrian, MO to Emmett and Bessie (Bishop) Hunt. She enjoyed going fishing, playing cards and dominoes, and most of all she loved to sew.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Keith L. Tucker and son, Richard L. Tucker. Survivors include sons, Steve L. Tucker, Belton, MO and Jerry K. Tucker, Hertford, NC; brother, Kenneth Hunt, Raymore, MO; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
