Doris Mowrer

Doris E. Mowrer, 88, Olathe, KS, died Dec. 8, 2007 at the Johnson County Nursing Center. Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at Hillcrest Covenant Church, 8801 Nall Ave. Prairie Village, KS with visitation 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. The family suggests contributions go in memory of Doris Mowrer to YouthFront 4715 Rainbow, Shawnee Mission, KS 66205. Mrs. Mowrer was born in Kansas City, Mo. and lived in this area her entire life. She was an independent Financial Planner until retiring in 1991. She was a member of Celebration Community Church. Her husband, Bill Mowrer died in 1957. Survivors include two sons, David Mowrer with wife Bonnie of Tulsa, OK, and Craig Mowrer with wife Patti of Lenexa, three grandsons, Clayton, Kyle, Cole, and one granddaughter, Kellie.
