Mr. Donald Schowengerdt

Donald Eugene Schowengerdt, 77, of Olathe, KS, died on July 20, 2013.
He was born December 23, 1935 to Opal and Raymond Schowengerdt in Independence, MO.
Don was a graduate of Liberty High School and Rockhurst College. Don's career began at Panhandle Eastern Pipeline, followed by positions at Colorado Interstate Gas, and DeZurik Corp. The majority of his career was spent at Arthur Young and Company, where he retired as a partner in 1988.
He had been a member of Rotary Club #13; the Kansas City Club; and Hillcrest, Forest Hills, and Milburn Country Clubs. His hobbies included golf and Civil War History.
Don is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sharon. He leaves two sons, Bruce (Sally) and Brad (Ann) and four grandchildren, Grant (Rosa), Molly, Kelly (Lawrence), and Tyler.
