Donald Murphy

Donald Gordon Murphy, 47, of Prairie Village, KS, passed away October 28, 2010 at his home. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 3rd from 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf,Overland Park, KS. Memorial Service to follow at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery with graveside services at 3:30 p.m. Don was born June 23, 1963 in Kansas City. He had a passion for cars and liked to play ice hockey and golf. He enjoyed spending time at the Lake of the Ozark’s home with friends and family. His parents and son were very important to him as was spending time with them. He enjoyed going out to dinner with his son. Son had a deep faith and love for the Savior. He joined in peace his parents Paul Murphy and “Wannie” Murphy. He is survived by his son Craig Allen Murphy, two sisters Diane Davis of Tucson, AZ and Kathy Grendell of Prescott, AZ; and one brother Bill Murphy of Lenexa, KS.
