Delores Anderson

Delores M. Anderson, 86, of Climax Springs, MO formerly of KCK passed away January 11, 2015. Visitation will be 6-8pm, Friday, January 16th at Overland Park Chapel with a Rosary service to begin at 7:30pm. A graveside service will be held 11am, Saturday, January 17th at Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors. Delores was born December 19th, 1928 in KCK to Philip and Martha Bukaty. She married Charles S. Anderson on May 22nd, 1948 and spent 66 ½ wonderful years together and to this union 8 children were born. Delores was the president and an active member for 25 years of the Stitch and Chatter Sewing Club. She was also an active member of the VFW 3600 Ladies Auxiliary and the 50 & Holding Club, all of Climax Springs, MO. She was a very devoted member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Climax Springs and a previous member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of KCK. She is preceded in death by her parents and three sons, David C., Mark S. and Dale P. Anderson. She is survived by her husband of the home, Charles S. Anderson; son, Glen Anderson (Becky) of WA; son, Don Anderson of MO; son, Keith Anderson of KCK; daughter, Dené M. Vogrin (Jim) of KCK; daughter, Marsha Anderson of MO; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  There will be a Celebration of Life Mass service at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Climax Springs set for a later date.
