Donald Mattox, 77, of Savonburg, KS, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital on the Plaza.
Donald was born on November 6, 1936 in rural St. Paul, KS to George Erven Mattox and Bertha Lucille Fickess Mattox.
Donald is survived by his wife, Janet, five children, Ronald D. (Kathy) Mattox of Olathe, KS, Donald G. (Roberta) Mattox of Erie, KS, Susan K. (Steve) Geier of Erie, KS, Steven L. (Debbie) Mattox of St. Paul, KS, and George O. Mattox of Savonburg, KS, 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 4 siblings, Carl (Georgia) Mattox of Cutler Bay, FL, George Mattox of Parsons, KS, Lela Hutchison of Wichita, KS, and Wilma Wintjen of Erie, KS, and 4 sister-in-laws. Donald was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
