David E. Penner, age 50, Lake of the Ozarks, MO formerly of Shawnee, KS passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, MO with his parents and his companion, Katonya Harriss at his bedside. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 20th at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, December 20th in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, Shawnee, KS. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice.
David was born to Arthur and Mary Ellen Penner on August 7, 1957. He was involved in construction all of his adult life. David is survived by his parents, Arthur and Mary Ellen Penner, Shawnee, KS; his daughter, Shelby Penner, Olathe, KS; his brother, Ronnie Craig Penner and his wife Donna, Bonner Springs, KS; his two sisters, Cynthia Lou Penner and her husband Byron Fox, Tucson, AZ and Rebecca Moeller and her husband Chris, Kansas City, MO; two nieces and five nephews; and his companion, Katonya Harriss, Lake Ozark, MO.
