Clyde Meise

Clyde G. Meise passed away July 12, 2016. He was born January 19, 1924 in Seymour, MO to Charles and Ruby Meise.
He married his childhood sweetheart Beatrice L. Herman on May 27, 1943.
After joining the Army, he served in the European Theatre during World War 2. As a member of Patton’s 3rd Army, he took part in the D-Day Normandy Landing.
After the war, he resumed his education and graduated with a law degree from Kansas City University. He practiced law in the Kansas City area for over 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice, of nearly 69 years.
He is survived by a son, Greg Meise, daughter in law, Diana Meise and grandson Chad Meise.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, July 21 from 6-8 pm at Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS.
