Clifford 'Joe' Coyle

Clifford Joseph ‘Joe’ Coyle, 84, of Overland Park, KS passed away November 27, 2008. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 starting at 2:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. at Leawood Baptist Church, 8200 State Line Rd., Leawood, KS 66206. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
Joe was born December 3, 1923 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Clifford Hiram and Inez E. Blocher Coyle. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He was a charter member of Leawood Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for over 40 years.
He married Ruth E. Blanton on Sept. 27, 1947. She preceded him in death on March 10, 1997. Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia Adams, Debra Ward and Layne Strickland; two grand-daughters, Jessica and Rebecca Ward; and a brother, Robert E. Coyle.
