Choua Lor

Choua Lor passed away on December 26, 2017 in Olathe, Kansas. She was 67 years old.

Choua was the eldest daughter of Chong Toua Lor and Mai Vang. Choua was born in Houa Nong, Sam Neua in Laos on March 9, 1950. She has 3 younger sisters: Pa, Mao, and Neng. In 1968, Choua met Nhiacher Vang in Houa Nong, Laos. That year they decided to marry and start a life together. Choua and Nhiacher have 9 children, 5 sons and 4 daughters. Their children are: Maichao (deceased in 1998), Maisho (deceased in 1972), Thai (Houacheng), Fong (deceased in 1976), Ka, Mao, Xai, John, and Vong. All together they have 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Choua was a very active person, she liked to garden, fish and go on walks. However, what she liked most was to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Choua was a patient, loving, and generous person who valued family above all else. Those who knew Choua, knew that nothing compared to her smile and the sound of her laughter. When Choua laughed, it was as if there was nothing to worry about and life was completely carefree.
