Charlotte Ann Coy Olveda, 71, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 in Osage Beach, MO. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2012 at the McWilliams Funeral Home, 501 N. Locust, Jamesport, MO with graveside following in Jamesport Masonic Cemetery.
Charlotte was born June 15, 1941 in Jamesport, MO to James and Marjorie Coy. She graduated from Jamesport High School. She resided in the Kansas City area before retiring and moving to the Lake of the Ozarks area. Charlotte was a circulation clerk for the Kansas City Star where she retired from after 25 years in 1994. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Coy. Charlotte is the beloved mother of five children: Phillip Bacon of Lenexa, KS, April Denise Burrow of Kansas City, KS, Daniel Bacon of Platte City, MO, Anita Bacon of Independence, MO, and Mary Soliz of Texas City, TX; seven grandchildren: Eric Bacon, James Burrow, Lisa Riggle, Donald Burrow, Jennifer Simmons, Jessica Soliz, and Anthony Soliz; one great granddaughter, Kyla; two sisters: Maudie Buckler and Patricia Coy; two brothers: Buster and Bill Coy; and her longtime companion, George Richardson of the Lake of the Ozarks.
