Carolyn Marie (Natho) Kraus, 80, of Overland Park, Kansas died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Overland Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services and burial in Clarksville, Arkansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Kansas City Chapter or The Nature Conservancy.
Mrs. Kraus was born March 16, 1927 in Gillett, Arkansas. After receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Central Arkansas in 1947, she served a clinical internship at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. A Certified Member of The American Society for Clinical Pathology, she had a 40 year career as a Medical Technologist. Her interests included gardening, classical music, and archeology and she was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Arville E. Kraus; and a brother, Carl Natho. Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Heidi and Mark Bierly of Hutchinson, Kansas; and her son and granddaughter, David and Geneva Kraus, both of Schenectady, New York.
