Survivors: Lilla Waneta (Ricketts) Brand of the home, Judith Anne Martin-Coppell, Texas, Larry Carl Brand, Lenexa, Kansas, Jeffrey Wayne Brand, Kansas City, Kansas, Patricia Witschner, Kansas City Missouri, and five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother, George J. Brand, Kansas City, Missouri.
Joined the U.S. Air Force in June 1942, served with the 8th Air Force in England completing 30 missions as aerial engineer-gunner on B-24 over Europe. Awarded air medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters. Served with 442nd Troop Carrier Command at Washington National Airport during the Korean Episode. Retired from American Laminates in 1981.
