Bradley Allan Gabler, 33, passed away Aug. 19, 2012. Brad was born Aug. 16, 1979 to John and Kathy Gabler. He resided his entire life in Stillwell, KS. Brad was passionate about the outdoors and spent summers in Colorado camping with Grandpa K & Grandma D, fishing whenever/wherever he could, exploring neighborhood farms with best friend Dusty Coultis and at ballparks playing & watching baseball. He also loved going to Royals games with Grandma & Grandpa Gabler. Brad attended Blue Valley High School and lettered four years in Varsity wrestling. Brad worked in the family nursery business and loved growing things. He was especially proud of his 50 lb + watermelon in 2010.
Brad was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Gabler and uncle John Gabler. Survivors include his mother & father, Kathy & John; brothers: Aaron & John Gabler; grandparents: Allan & Dolores Lewis, grandmother Charlotte Gabler; aunt& uncle Suzie & J.R. Smith, aunt & uncle Kathy & Bob Allen, aunt Lynn Connelly, aunt Shirley Gabler, aunt Fran Hall, and cousins Cassi (Scott) Baltuska and Jason (Julie) Barrett.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 at the Overland Park Lutheran Church, 79th and Lowell. A visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel; burial Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Overland Park Lutheran Church.
