Blake Fleming Overton, 31, returned to his Father on Saturday, January 24, 2009. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 29th at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Burial services will be in Custer City Masonic Cemetery, Custer City, Oklahoma. The family suggests memorial contributions to Special Olympics Kansas.
Blake was a lifelong resident of Johnson County, Kansas. He attended Blue Valley North High School and graduated in 1994. He was an avid sports fan and loved his Jayhawks and Royals. He is survived by his one year old daughter, Brianna; his mother, Judi Overton; father and step-mother, Strat and Susie Overton; brothers, James Michael Wells and Ryan Overton. He was a compassionate and caring person and will be missed by all.
