Mrs. Beulah Latshaw

Beulah Marie was born November 16, 1914 in Waterville, KS to Mary L. (Koeneke) & Arthur F. Geyer. After graduating from Waterville High School, she attended Kansas State University, Lindenwood College in St. Charles, MO and received a bachelor?s degree in education from The University of Nebraska in Lincoln. She taught high school in Norton, KS and Clay Center, KS for several years before returning home to help in the office of her father?s business and to care for her mother.
On a trip to Hawaii with her father in 1954, she met her future husband, Ralph S. Latshaw. They married in 1956 and their son, Ralph A. Latshaw, was born two years later.
Beulah devoted her life to her family, being room mother, den mother and active worker in her church. She enjoyed opportunities for travel with her family to many places around the world. She was always supportive of her son?s endeavors and found great pleasure taking part in her grandchildren?s activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sisters, Luella M. Geyer and Laura M. Geyer; and her husband, Ralph S. Latshaw. She is survived by her son, Ralph A. Latshaw, his wife, Patricia, granddaughter Jennifer and grandson Richard.
