Bess Gianulis

Bess Gianulis, 87, Overland Park, KS, passed away peacefully February 10, 2016. Bess was born Septem¬ber 22, 1928 to Christ and Helen (Terezakis) Pappas in Fairpoint, OH. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Ben, in 2005. She is survived by daughter, Barbara; sons, Bill and Brad; and grandchildren, Joanna, Ben, William and “Bonnie.” Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Friday, Feb¬ruary 19 at Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park. A funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday, February 20 at St. Dionysios Greek Orthodox Christian Church, 8100 W. 95th Street, Overland Park, KS. Private burial will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery on February 22. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to VITAS Healthcare Hospice or to St. Dionysios Greek Orthodox Christian Church.
