Barry Galiger, 73, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Private family service. A jazz celebration of life will be held at a later date. Barry was born December 15, 1937 in Libertyville, IL. He was a Marine Corps veteran. Barry was President of Form-A-Tion Machinery working with his son Chip for 29 years. He was a member of Kansas City Jazz Ambassadors. Barry was preceded in death by a brother Bert Galiger, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Linda Whayne; two children: Beth Galiger of Austin, TX, and Barry “Chip” Galiger and his wife Becky of Jenks, OK; brother Ed Galiger; sister Jeanne (Frank) Wellwerts; sister Mary Meade; step brothers Carl and Edward Lemmer; 4 grandchildren: Jane Ann, Thomas, Matthew, and Cooper Galiger.
