BARBARA ANN WAUGH
Barbara Ann Waugh of Shawnee Mission, KS, passed on February 14, 2011. She was born August 14, 1941 in Moran, KS to Bud and Della Smith. She married George Waugh on May 22, 1965. Barb loved to travel, volunteer and spend time with friends and family. She was employed by Suburban Propane/Ferrellgas for 32 years and held many jobs in the company from Customer Service Representative to Plant Manager. She was a member of the Ideal Homemakers chapter of FCE and a past member of Soroptimist International of Kansas City. She will be remembered by friends and family for her laughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in law Donald Thompson and a nephew, Bradley Thompson. She is survived by her husband of the home; sisters Maribeth Thompson, Odessa, MO; Sue (Ross) Atkinson, Kincaid, KS; niece Susanne (Jim) Wright; great nephews Donald Thompson and Robert Wright; great niece Erika Thompson; great-great nephew Lucas Snowden and countless friends. She will be dearly missed by all her knew her. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday February 17 at the D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Overland Park Chapel; burial Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
