Mrs. Antoinette Nemeth

Antoinette M. ?Toni? Nemeth, 85, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away peacefully April 5, 2008.
Mrs. Nemeth was born May 22, 1922 in Pana, Illinois to Ferdinand and Marie Schneider, both deceased. After living in Pana, she moved to Springfield, Illinois where she met her husband, Robert C. Nemeth. They were married in Springfield on January 12, 1946. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2006. The Nemeth?s owned and operated Nix Drive-In in Kansas City, Missouri from 1946-1985. Mrs. Nemeth was a member of the American Legion Post 370, Overland Park, Kansas and also a Chaplain of the VFW Post 846 of Overland Park.
Toni is survived by six children and their spouses: Robert C. and Virginia Nemeth, Granite City, IL; Linda S. and Allen Block, Monroe, GA; Gary A. and Sandra Nemeth, Paso Robles, CA; Randall C. and Marcia Nemeth, Shawnee, KS; Diane M. and Ed Jones, Tanner, AL; David B. and Elizabeth Nemeth, Houston, TX; her sister, Rose (Tootsie) Irwin, Springfield, IL; 20 grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Trinity Nursing and Rehab Center and Care Alternative Hospice for their loving care.
