Albert E. Martin III, age 80, of Overland Park, KS passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa. Memorial Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until time of service on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics of Kansas.
Mr. Martin was born September 7, 1927 in Kansas City, MO. He was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. He graduated from Wyandotte High School and served in the Marine Corp during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie in 2006. Survivors include five sons and one daughter: Al, Scott, David, George, John and Susan. Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
